NRAS signs open letter to the Prime Minister

Ailsa Bosworth MBE, Chief Executive of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, has signed an open letter to the Prime Minister urging her to prevent the UK leaving the European Union without a negotiated deal.
The letter, which has been co-signed by patient champions, carers, doctors, academics, and leaders of charities and professional bodies, raises concerns that the Government's contingency plans are unlikely to cover all eventualities and work for all patients, carers and citizens. NRAS is particularly concerned about how a 'no deal' scenario may impact on people's access to medicines, and has been encouraging its members and supporters to ask their MPs about any potential impact on them.
NRAS will keep working over the next few weeks to try to establish exactly how a deal or no deal will impact on people with RA and JIA and communicate this with its membership.
