A Gift in your Will
To benefit those living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
Gifts in Wills, whatever the size, make a big difference
A Gift in your Will enables NRAS to continue to develop and deliver services that matter to those living with RA and JIA, now and in the future.
It's such a humbling experience, speaking to people on the helpline and hearing what they go through when they or a loved one are living with RA or JIA. I'm glad that I get to play a small part in reducing their worries, answering their questions and helping to improve their lives.
- Victoria, NRAS Helpline Manager
Your gift will mean that people living with RA or JIA will have access to high quality information about their condition, will have a trained volunteer or helpline professional to talk to who understands what they are going through, and will have somewhere to turn when they are feeling confused and alone. Your gift will enable NRAS to be there at the start and at every stage of their journey, with referral to our services right from the first appointment with a Rheumatology specialist post-diagnosis.
Why make a Will?
If you have not made a Will, your surviving family and friends may experience complications with your estate being divided according to the law, not your wishes. If you have no surviving family, your entire estate will go to the state.
Making and amending a Will
Making a Will needn't be difficult or expensive. For a small fee a lawyer can ensure that all your chosen beneficiaries, including charities, will inherit according to your wishes. NRAS recommends you seek professional advice when writing or amending your Will.
You can order your free downloadable, print or large print copy of the NRAS Guide to Writing or Updating your Will below.
