Celebrate and donate!

Are you planning a special occasion in the future? You might be planning your engagement or wedding, or perhaps it’s a special birthday, an anniversary or a retirement – whatever it is why not support NRAS at the same time?

Mr and Mrs HamiltonYou will be making a real difference to all those living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)

You might like to consider setting up a Justgiving Page – you could make it your own special page with photos, tell your family and friends all about your celebration.  Alternatively family and friends could make a donation directly to NRAS on your behalf – it couldn’t be easier.

Nowadays so many people have everything they need when getting married and find it difficult to compile a list to give to family and friends.   If you are planning on ‘tying the knot’  in the near future would you consider asking your guests to make a donation to NRAS or  as part of your special day give NRAS wedding favours to your guests? We have lapel badges, wristbands and can supply you with collection boxes.

How your money will help:

74p pays for a publication

£2.79 pays for a helpline call

£5.34 will pay for a helpline call with tailored follow up

£50 will pay for the production of an information toolkit for a volunteer to enable them to give one to one telephone support to others with RA

£120 will pay for a resource pack for health professionals to provide patient support

£500 will pay for the setting up of an NRAS group.

For every £1 raised 86p goes towards supporting those living with RA and 14p goes towards raising the next £1.

Whatever your occasion we would like you to help us to help those living with RA.  Contact fundraising@nras.org.uk for more information or call 01628 823524 to speak to a member of our fundraising team.
