Gift Aid Scheme
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.
This means that £1 can be turned into £1.28, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid and it doesn’t cost you a thing.
This will help us do a great deal more to support people with Rheumatoid Arthritis
If you are a UK tax-payer, please tick the box on the Subscription or Donation form, or provide your full address including your postcode.
You only have to make your Declaration once. We can then use it for every gift you make, and claim the tax back on all your donations since April 2000.
NB: You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in the appropriate tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).
Notes:
- You can cancel your gift aid declaration at any time by notifying the charity.
- If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
- If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.
- If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, refer to help sheet IR65 on the HMRC web site.
- Please notify the charity if you change your name or address.
