Hadrian's Wall Trek

Sheila Webb, coordinator of the Canterbury NRAS Group, decided to take on the challenge of walking 25 miles over 2 days along the remaining sections of Hadrian's Wall. Starting at Lanercost Priory in Northumbria, this is a strenuous walk for anyone undertaking it, with some long uphill sections and steep sections both up and down, but even more of a challenge if you have RA as Sheila does. On arriving she found that she was in good company as Paul Marsden, an NRAS supporter, was also taking part!

Sheila and Paul both completed the challenge and between them have raised over £1,000 for NRAS. Sheila says she may have had aching feet and twinges but it was well worth all the effort and the scenery was fantastic!

Thank you Sheila and Paul - a great effort.
