Pembrokeshire NRAS Group
The Pembrokeshire NRAS group coodinators are Jean and Claire and they hold regular meetings for people with RA, their family and/or friends. They also hold an annual Information Day which is open to everyone.
The have a contact for gentle exercise classes specifically for people with RA and other forms of Inflammatory Arthritis. All classes led by a fully qualified instructor with an interest in RA. If you are interested, or would like to know more about the classes, please contact Samantha Evans on 07796 526166. She holds classes on a Monday at Freyston, Pembrokeshire (11:30am) and Moylegrove, Cardinganshire (2:30pm), Tuesday at Amroth, Pembrokeshire (10:30am) and Friday at St Florence, Pembrokeshire (11:00am)
Dates and speakers for meetings 2012:
Starting in March for a trail period Claire and/or Jean are holding a further type of informal meeting. The first Thursday of every month - 11:00am to 12 noon - they will meet for a coffee and chat at Grandiflora Nursery Tea Rooms, St Florence, Tenby SA70 8LP. If you would like to join them you are most welcome.
7th March - Spring lunch at Plas Hyfryd, Narberth
4th July - Pembrokeshire NRAS group fundraising 2012 Tea Party
22nd September - Annual Information Day at the Picton Centre, Freemans Way, Haverfordwest SA61 1UG - 10:00am - 3:30pm - Managing Rheumatoid Arthritis. Speakers will include members of Withybush Hospital Rheumatology department and other local health professionals as well as speakers from NRAS. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. Feel free to attend for the whole, or part, of the day. Light refreshments will be available.

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea SA2 9AR from 7:30pm to 9:00pm unless otherwise stated.
Car parking adjacent and full disabled access.

Thursday 1st March - 2:30pm - 4:30pm - Speaker from ABM (Abertawe Bro Morgannwg) Health Trust - Appointments system, waiting lists and admin etc. If you are unable to attend but wish to give your comments or put forward your questions regarding the appointment system/waiting lists etc. please email volunteers@nras.org.uk with your comments/experience/questions so they can be forwarded on for the discussion.
