Helpline
The NRAS helpline is manned by three trained helpline staff supported by other members of the NRAS team.
The team is regularly updated with developments in the field of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and they will always try to answer your questions as fully as possible. The team are also there to provide information and support on a range of topics such as fatigue, pain, employment and benefits for example.
We receive a very wide range of calls and often, when detailed knowledge is not available, we will be able to give details of the best organisation to help you, perhaps with more in depth knowledge and experience on a particular topic.
We also have access to a
team of Medical Advisors, consultants, rheumatology nurse specialists and other health professionals to whom we can go for further information and advice.
If you would like to talk to someone else who has RA for general support, you may prefer to
speak to one of our volunteers from the NRAS Support Network. Trained volunteers are available across the UK to call and chat to you about living with RA.
