Fundraising Standards and Complaints Policy

NRAS is a member the Fundraising Standards Board, the independent self-regulatory body for UK fundraising. The FRSB work to improve public confidence in giving to charities and in partnership with their members to ensure commitment to the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Fundraising Practice is upheld.

As a member of the FRSB NRAS is committed to delivering high standards and to be open and honest with you in all our fundraising activities. You can expect us to be clear and respectful in our approach to fundraising and for us to be fair, reasonable and accountable. The Fundraising Promise is a key part of the scheme and it outlines how NRAS will behave when doing our fundraising and ensures fundraising is legal, honest, open, transparent and accountable. The ‘FRSB Tick’ adorning our fundraising material and the footer of our website, is the symbol of a cohort of member charities commitment to high standards when they are fundraising, of which NRAS is one. Charities are now required to state whether they are members of the FRSB or not and we are proud to be working to the guidance of the code.
