National Conferences
Part of keeping abreast of developing policy and how local organisations set about implementing the different targets and directives, is to ensure that at NRAS, we attend relevant conferences so that we can inform and influence national and local policy.
Each Autumn NRAS now attends the major party political conferences. 2009 was the first year that we did this and it raises our profile considerably amongst the parliamentarians and allows us to create useful and very powerful networks. It also shows the politicians that we are serious in our political intentions to make the services for our members, those of high quality and equitable for all.
