New drug LT-NS001 in clinical trial

LT-NS001 is converted in the bloodstream to naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

NSAIDs have been linked to gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding, but Logical Therapeutics, the company developing LT-NS001, says that in pre-clinical studies, LT-NS001 was shown to cause significantly less damage to the gastrointestinal tract than equivalent doses of naproxen.
