Taken from NRAS magazine, New Year 2010
DnaJP1 is an orally active molecule derived from proteins that may help inflammation in people with RA. Adeona Pharmaceuticals, the company behind this development, announced their findings in a recent publication of the journal Arthritis & Rheumatism. The results of a six-month, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 160 people with RA confirmed that dnaJP1 appeared to be safe and well-tolerated. Chief Executive Officer of Adeona commented "We ... believe that dnaJP1 has significant potential to improve the course of treatment for RA patients”.
